The seminar Master Barry did for our school in January 2008 was a huge success. The students had a chance to look at the martial arts from a different prospective which was a great chance to grow and develop in their root art of Hapkido. Master Barry presented himself in a very professional manner, mixing the seriousness of what was being taught with enough humour to keep things very enjoyable for the student body. The system presented to the schools was very effective and easy to learn. It complimented what we teach very well. Master Barry also reinforced our own teaching which is very much appreciated! I will be having Master Barry back in May to teach 2 sessions at our Black Belt Extravaganza.

I had a lot of fun tonight. Chad is awesome! It’s always nice to learn new things. Using math (symbols) to show how to do blocks and strikes was great, it’s easy to understand.

The Chad Barry Seminar was very informative and fun as well. It amazed me still how much there can be to learn about self defense. Simple techniques are all that are needed to defend oneself. This seminar taught me to use these methods to do such.
